Birthday Number 2 (Mulank 2): what does it mean?
Your birthday number - mulank in Indian numerology, the Driver - is your birth day reduced to a single digit, and it describes your nature: how you think, react and show up. Birthday Number 2 is the kingmaker - charming, gentle and sensitive, with a mind that can vacillate.
How to calculate your birthday number
Take the day of the month you were born and reduce it to a single digit. Example: born on the 29th: 2 + 9 = 11, then 1 + 1 = 2. If you were born on 2, 11, 20 or 29, your birthday number is 2. (Your birthday number is only half the foundation - the life path number, bhagyank, comes from your full date of birth and describes your direction.)
The nature of Birthday Number 2
Birthday Number 2 is ruled by the Moon. Number 2 is charming, gentle, slow, sensitive, good hosts - and kingmakers: the power behind the throne rather than on it. The shadow side: a vacillating mind. People born on 2, 11, 20 and 29 tend to have emotional ups and downs - the Moon fluctuates.

A job suits 2s better than business - ideally water-related fields (mineral water, cold drinks), water-plus-white fields like dairy and milk products, the Navy or Merchant Navy, or consultancy. Acting, social media, cooking, the hotel industry and designing also suit 2s (Moon and Cancer energy).
Lucky color and friendly numbers
White is the lucky color for 2. The friendly numbers are 1, 2, 3 and 5 itself, with 4, 8 and 9 as enemies and 6 and 7 neutral.
What your full numeroscope adds
Your birthday number is one signal - your nature. The full NumVya chart reads it against your life path number (the Conductor), your Kua number, the Lo Shu grid (the digit pattern in your date of birth and the lines they form), your name spelling, and the personal year you are currently running. The same Driver reads very differently on different grids. The full chart also carries number-specific remedies, prescribed against the whole chart rather than one number - those live in the report, not on this page. The NumVya Advanced personal analysis report reads all of it - grid, combinations, name spelling, remedies and the year ahead - the aspects of life that matter most: health, relationships, career and money. These are patterns read across thousands of charts, not textbook lines. Get the Advanced report on the services page, or book a 1:1 consultation if you want it read for you.
